Happy Mother’s Day

I hope and pray for all mothers here today a very Happy Mother’s Day. As God’s word reminds us, this honoring of mothers is something we are all called to do. “Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise.” (Eph. 6:2) Let us strive to continually honor our mothers by expressing our love to them in word and action. Allow today to be a springboard to doing so in showing honor to your mother as God has called you to do.

As you go forth each day of the week ahead, keep on striving to focus on heaven, remembering to “set your mind on things above, not on things of the earth.” (Colossians 3:2) God bless you. I love you.
